Job summary

FedEx Express is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver for a FedEx Route. The role involves loading, transporting, and delivering packages along daily routes with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will perform pre-trip/post-trip vehicle checks, assist customers at delivery points, and ensure proper signatures and confirmations are captured. This position requires physical stamina and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Physical ability to lift 50–150 lbs and maneuver heavier loads with equipment.
• Must pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT medical exam (if applicable).
• Strong navigation, time management, and communication skills.
• Willing to go through TSA screening

Responsibilities

• Route Operations: Safely operate delivery vehicles to load, transport, and deliver packages on daily assigned routes.
• Package Handling: Scan, inspect, and organize packages for accurate delivery; handle packages weighing up to 50–70 lbs using hand trucks/dollies.
• Customer Service: Provide professional, courteous service at delivery stops and obtain required signatures/confirmations via scanner.
• Vehicle Safety: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
