Owens Transportation Inc runs FedEx Ground delivery routes out of Magna, and we're hiring drivers at $190 per day, plus $1 for each stop over 150 stops. Routes start at 8:30 AM, with weekly pay and paid training at $160 per day.

About Owens Transportation Inc

Owens Transportation Inc operates FedEx Ground routes from its Magna terminal and serves residential routes in the Herriman area. Drivers use company-provided P1000 or P1200 step vans. Paid training lasts 1–2 weeks at $160 per day. Health coverage is available through a shared-cost health plan or a fully paid local clinic plan.

The Job

You'll deliver packages on residential routes in the Herriman area using a company-provided step van. The work involves loading and unloading packages, frequent bending and lifting, and getting in and out of the vehicle throughout the day. Routes cover 60–70 miles per day and average 8 hours, until all packages are delivered.

You can request an extra shift if you want one. Drivers earn an additional $1 for each stop over 150 stops.

Compensation

• Daily pay: $190 per day
• Additional stop pay: $1 per stop over 150 stops
• Training pay: $160 per day for 1–2 weeks
• Safety and attendance bonus: $100 every 2 weeks

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Lift packages up to 150 lbs and frequently bend, lift, and maneuver in and out of the delivery vehicle, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Prior courier experience is a plus
• Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply
• No prior delivery experience required — we'll train you

Schedule

• Operate 7 days a week; work 5 days per week, including one weekend day
• Routes start at 8:30 AM and continue until route completion
• Average of 8 hours per day
