Job summary

Echo Electric, a major electrical distributor, seeks a Route Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) to ensure safe, efficient deliveries and assist with warehouse tasks. Shift is 8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday, with starting pay $20–$22 per hour. Candidates must be 21+, able to obtain DOT certification, and lift up to 50 lbs.

The role involves loading/unloading, operating forklifts or similar equipment, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Join a team that values safety, reliability, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive company truck(s) with care and safety compliance.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Report observations to Warehouse Manager about opportunities or problems.
• Load and unload materials from truck safely using proper equipment.
• Receive and check deliveries, pickups, and returns for quality and quantity.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut with appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors and maintain tidy warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders ranging from small boxes to pallets.
• Record losses of damaged or defective materials.

We have a great opportunity for a customer-oriented Route Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) to join our team! As a Route Delivery Driver, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of electrical supplies, materials, and parts. You will also assist with general warehouse duties.

Shift: 8 AM- 5 PM, M-F

Starting Rate: $20-$22

We Are Looking For Associates Who

• Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Provides associates with possible solutions and/or appropriate contact information when problems arise; reports observations of customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager.
• Loads and unloads materials from truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift).
• Receive and check deliveries, pickups and returns to ensure quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
• Record losses of damaged or defective materials.

What You Bring

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certification.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jack, and power tools. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
