Echo Electric, a brand owned by Sonepar, is seeking a customer-oriented Driver to ensure safe, efficient delivery of electrical supplies and to assist with warehouse duties. Shift is 6 AM–3 PM, Monday–Friday, with starting rate of $23 per hour.

We value associates who meet the DOT qualifications, can lift up to 50 pounds, and are comfortable operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Benefits include health insurance and 401K, among others.

Qualifications

• Experience driving box trucks/flatbeds.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy items.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jack, power tools).
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

We have a great opportunity for a customer-oriented Driver to join our team! As a Driver, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of electrical supplies, materials, and parts. You will also assist with general warehouse duties.

Shift: 6 AM-3 PM, M-F

Starting Rate: $23 per hour

We are looking for associates who:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Successful completion of all driver qualifications as specified in the Department of Transportation regulations, including pre-employment physical examination, regularly scheduled follow-up physical examinations, and proof of a safe driving record.
• Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol.
• Provides associates with possible solutions and/or appropriate contact information when problems arise, reports observations of customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager.
• Loads and unloads materials from truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift).
• Receive and check-in deliveries, pickups and returns to ensure quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
• Record losses of damaged or defective materials.

What you bring:

• Experience driving box trucks/flatbeds.
• Forklift experience is desired.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jack, and power tools. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
