Job summary

Winebow is seeking a Truck Driver for our California operations based in Pico Rivera. You will operate company trucks, perform deliveries and pickups, and ensure safe, on-time transport of Winebow products.

Requirements include at least one year of truck driving experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Schedule is Tue–Fri, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Minimum of one year of truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate company owned and leased trucks for shipping and receiving.
• Deliver and pick up Winebow products.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup.
• Maintain safety certifications as required by DOT and OSHA.
• Report variances to the local dispatcher.
• Complete equipment maintenance checks.
• Arrive on time for all shifts and meetings.

The salary range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00 per hour. If you are hired at Winebow, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience. Work Schedule is Tuesday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 pm with overtime as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Operate company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations
• Operate trucks for the delivery and pickup of Winebow's products
• Perform required before, during, and after-operation "user maintenance" and provide required reports
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Report any variances/discrepancies to local dispatcher.
• Operate all MHE.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and Company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition.
• Arrives to work, meetings, appointments, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
• Meets agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
• Ability to work overtime

Other Functions:

• Follows all safety policies and procedures; communicates hazards and/or suggests improvements to manager.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Equipment/Machinery Used:
• Manual pallet jack, Electric pallet jack (when duly certified), hand truck

Working Conditions: Prolonged sitting, driving, ability to work in severe weather conditions; both heat and cold, constant travel by automobile

Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity, visual acuity, reaching, bending, and lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. Minimum

• Minimum of one year experience as truck driver
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must be 21 years or older.
