Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Route Coordinator to support driver routing and customer service at a plant location in Nebraska. The role involves organizing routes, managing tickets and costs, and coordinating deliveries with Customer Service and MDM teams.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong computer and MS Office skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Drug screening may be required. This role supports efficient, courteous service for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Assigns and organizes driver routes ensuring route efficiency based on stops and route costs.
• Completes daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on tickets, manifests, costs, and routing.
• Schedules Mobile Service Unit and Tank Delivery to customer's site including input and follow-up with Customer Service Representative in the system.
• Maintain current customer accounts through personal and telephone contact ensuring quality service to each customer in coordination with Customer Service Representative.
• Works with the MDM Team to ensure new customers are set up promptly.
• Enter Raw Material tickets into computer system.
• Fills in for other Office personnel when needed.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

The Route Coordinator works with route drivers in providing prompt, efficient and courteous service to all customers through utilization of computer routing system.

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, bend, and kneel.
• Occasionally must push, pull, move or lift up to 50lbs.
• Regularly required reach with hands and arms.

Job functions will be carried out at a plant location and/or office environment.
