Job summary

Far Inspections is seeking reliable independent contractors to perform residential mortgage inspections in St. Helena County, LA. You will manage your own routing and schedule, performing exterior occupancy verifications with on-site time of about 5–6 minutes per inspection.

You’ll capture 9+ photos, submit reports via mobile apps, and maintain territory coverage and deadlines on a flexible, 1099 basis. A vehicle, smartphone, computer with internet, printer, and background check are required.

FAR Inspections is actively seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in St. Helena County, Louisiana and surrounding communities. If you live in or near Greensburg or anywhere in St. Helena County, this is a great opportunity to earn supplemental or full-time income on your own schedule.

The Opportunity

Earn a predictable supplemental or full-time income on a flexible schedule that you control. As a Field Inspector covering St. Helena County, you will perform residential occupancy verifications. These are brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions.

  • Efficiency: Standard inspections are designed for speed, typically requiring only 5–6 minutes on-site.

Note: This role requires spending extended periods of time driving and making numerous stops throughout the day in your assigned territory. This territory covers a dense metro area where familiarity with city driving, parking, and navigating multi-unit properties is helpful.
