Job summary

Valaris Limited is seeking a roustabout to assist with deck and cargo operations on the rig under Crane Operator and Deck Pusher supervision. Responsibilities include supporting crane operations, barrier setup, cargo stowage, and housekeeping across related spaces.

May also assist with drilling operations as needed. The role requires prior manual labor experience, offshore exposure, and compliance with unit-specific training and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years or more in a manual labor role.
• Must meet all training and certification requirements for Roustabout per unit location.

Responsibilities

• Clean and organize the deck, equipment and related work areas.
• Off-load supplies from boats and move them to storage areas as directed.
• Check loads for slinging, lift clearance and obstructions.
• Ensure barriers are in place before lifting operations.
• Maintain clean, organized, inventoried cargo spaces.
• Participate in safety drills and weekly safety meetings.

Job Summary

Roustabouts assist with deck and cargo operations on the rig at the immediate discretion of the Crane Operators(s) and Deck Pusher(s).This includes supporting all cranes operations, barrier activity, stowage of cargo, bulk materials, and drilling equipment, as well as adequate housekeeping in all related spaces.He/she may also, at times, be required to assist with drilling operations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean, and organize the deck, equipment and all related work areas.
• Off-load supplies from boats and move them to storage areas at the direction of the DeckPushers and Crane Operators.
• Check loads for proper slinging, lift clearance, obstructions in movement, balance, etc.
• Ensure that barriers are appropriately in place prior to lifting operations.
• Work to ensure that all decks and other cargo related spaces are clean, organized,and inventoried/audited.
• Perform assigned duties during safety drills and emergency situations as per the station bill.
• Actively participate in the weekly safety meeting and other safety management system issues.

Qualifications / Experience

• Two years or more in a manual labor role, preferably military, construction, industrial or prior offshore experience.
• Must meet all the training and certification requirements for Roustabout which will vary by unit location according to local requirements and regulations.
