Citrus Cardiology Consultants, PLLC is seeking an experienced APRN or PA to join our inpatient cardiology team across Citrus County's local hospitals. You will perform daily rounds, assess patients, and coordinate with cardiologists to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida APRN license and board certification, with 3+ years in cardiology, and demonstrates strong decision-making and communication.

Qualifications

• Active APRN license in Florida.
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum of 3 years of cardiology-related clinical experience (cardiac unit, cardiac ICU, Cath Lab, or similar).
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inpatient rounding on cardiology patients across affiliated hospitals.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, EKGs, and imaging studies.
• Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, per protocols.
• Participate in patient education, care coordination, and discharge planning.
• Utilize EHR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks) to document encounters accurately.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation for clinical, legal, and billing purposes.

Citrus Cardiology Consultants, PLLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician's Assistant (PA) to join our cardiology team, providing inpatient care alongside our providers across local hospitals in Citrus County. This role offers a collaborative environment working alongside board-certified cardiologists, with a focus on delivering high-quality cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inpatient rounding on cardiology patients across affiliated hospitals
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to guide clinical decision-making
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, EKGs, and imaging studies
• Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, in accordance with established protocols while ensuring patient safety
• Participate in patient education, care coordination, and discharge planning
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks) to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate, timely documentation for clinical, legal, and billing purposes

Requirements

• Active APRN license in the state of Florida

• Minimum of 3 years of cardiology-related clinical experience (Clinical experience may include cardiac unit, cardiac ICU, Cath Lab, or similar settings)
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
