Qualifications

• Experience operating woodworking or production machinery.
• Ability to identify wood species and grade according to standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and production documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate rough mill woodworking equipment to prepare lumber and furniture components.
• Identify and grade wood species including Cherry, Mahogany, Oak, Maple, Birch, and veneers according to Stickley standards.
• Read and interpret production tickets, drawings, and work instructions.
• Set up machines and jobs efficiently to support production goals.
• Inspect materials and parts for quality, accuracy, and proper specifications.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and complete required maintenance records.
• Assist with material handling and off-bearing as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production needs.
