Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a Helicopter Maintenance & Operational Support Pilot in the Mesa, AZ area to support rotor-wing operations. You will perform pre-induction and post-maintenance flights, ferry flights, and ground runs under FAR guidelines while ensuring airworthiness and safety in mission-critical conditions.

The role requires diverse certifications, multi-aircraft qualification maintenance, and strong planning skills.

Qualifications

• Strong flight planning and operational discipline.
• Ability to manage aircraft ground runs and ferry flights.
• Proven communication and teamwork in high-stress settings.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft safely and legally at all times.
• Perform ground runs before and after maintenance.
• Complete pre-flight checks and post-flight documentation.
• Conduct RTS test flights per requirements.
• Ferry aircraft under Part 91 with VFR.
• Ensure safety of crew and equipment.
