Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Team Member for the Shreveport, LA area to assist in our prepared foods department. You’ll follow recipes, wrap and label products, and keep the rotisserie area stocked and clean to ensure the freshest items for our members.

You will work with cross-functional teams, prepare ready-to-eat items, and help customers with bakery orders. A positive attitude and efficiency are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification

Responsibilities

• Ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area
• Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
• Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
• Maintains the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
