Job summary

Roche in California offers a two-year Finance Rotation Development Program designed to develop high-potential future leaders in the Finance organization. Over this period, participants complete four rotations across DIA Finance chapters, each lasting 3 to 8 months, with a focus on technical and leadership training.

Participants will take on leadership roles in at least one assignment, gain exposure to senior managers via a Steering Committee, and be mentored throughout the program.

Qualifications

  • Recent college undergraduate with Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Informatics with GPA 3.0 or higher.
  • Between one and two years of work experience (including internships)
  • Prior working and/or internship experience in public accounting and management consulting preferred
  • Prior working and/or internship experience in the healthcare sector preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participate in four rotations between 3 and 8 months in different DIA Finance chapters.
  • Assume a leadership role (e.g. Product Owner) in at least one assignment.
  • Receive mentorship from a Steering Committee and senior managers over the program.
  • Enter Enterprise Finance Business Partner roles with DIA Finance upon successful completion

The Position

The Finance Rotation Development Program provides the opportunity for high potential future leaders to gain exposure to roles that are critical to the Finance organization at Roche. During a 2-year period, the selected candidates will participate in four rotations between 3 and 8 months in different DIA Finance chapters.

This program is designed to provide the selected candidates with challenging assignments and training in both technical and leadership areas. The goal of the program is to develop highly talented future finance leaders within the company.

The Opportunity
  • The positions are US based. Rotations in the US will be in Tucson, Pleasanton, Santa Clara, Branchburg and Indianapolis. There may be a rotation outside of the US as well. The selected candidates may start the first rotation in any of these locations.
  • Each of these assignments will introduce participants to different areas within DIA Finance, including but not limited to: Enterprise Center of Excellence, Commercial Finance, R&D Innovation Chapter and relevant Finance/Business projects.
  • The participants will assume a leadership role (e.g. Product Owner) in at least one of the assignments
  • Participants will have access to senior managers through a Steering Committee and will be matched with a mentor to support their career development
  • Upon successful completion of the program, the participants will be considered for Enterprise Finance Business Partner roles with DIA Finance
Who You Are

  • Show strong leadership potential and have the ambition to take on a leadership position in finance in the near future

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $64,600.00 - $120,000.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
