Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services is seeking a Production Operator to rotate through soil and clean production areas, learning to operate equipment and support receiving, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and loading linens for hospitals.

This role requires teamwork, flexibility to move between jobs, and the ability to handle up to 45 lb bags; high school diploma or GED preferred. Training periods are brief and safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Employees must be willing to move between all jobs via rotation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Soil Operations: sort returned soil linen into classifications; open bags ~45 lbs; process 2000 lbs per hour.
• Clean Operations: operate Catcher, Hand Folder, Ironer, and Shipping Clerk responsibilities; rotate between stations as needed.
• Catcher handles carts, stacking, and quality decisions; ensure items fit standards and contact maintenance if jams.
• Hand Folder folds and stacks items from washer/presser; place on carts for transport to next stage.
• Ironer runs linen through ironer, feeding and folding; assess quality and initiate rewash if needed.
• Shipping Clerk prepares finished carts for shipment, weighs carts, records data, and supports other positions.
