Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services is seeking a Production Operator to rotate across soil and clean production areas, learning equipment as needed. You will support receiving, sorting, washing, drying and loading linens for hospitals and medical facilities while meeting safety standards.

Employees rotate among roles and must complete learning curves quickly; strong teamwork and willingness to move between jobs are essential for daily operations and quality control.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED preferred.
• Excellent teamwork skills required.
• Employees must be willing to move between all jobs via rotation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Open customer returned soil bags (bags weigh approximately 45 lbs.), discard plastic bag, spread product out to allow for visibility on soil belt; pre-sort classifications as required.
• Operators located on the work platform float between multiple positions moving up and down the belt sorting into bins or slots.
• Move empty carts to appropriate area for cleaning and reuse.
• Cart Cleaners ensure carts are cleaned, sterilized, dried, and lined for clean linens.
• Catchers secure linen carts, count and stack items, and coordinate with maintenance when jams occur.
• Hand Folder folds items, stacks them, and fills carts for the next area.
