Midwest Food Solutions is seeking a Rotating Warehouse Associate in a Chicago-area facility. The role involves rotating between forklift operation, selecting, loading, cycle counting, and quality inspection, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and teamwork.
Candidates should have at least 2 years in warehousing, RF scanning, inventory, and forklift/pallet jack experience. The job requires reading and writing in English and the ability to work in cold environments down to -30 degrees.
We pay for training! Earn $19/hr.for the first (4) weeks of training.
Base Hourly Rate: $17.50/hr.
Earn Up$26.00/hr.+ with Performance Bonus
As a Rotating Warehouse Associate this position will require the employee to rotate between several key roles in the warehouse, including Forklift Operation, Selecting, Loading, Cycle Counting, and Quality Inspection. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and computer skills, be adaptable to different tasks, and demonstrate a high level of teamwork and communication skills. This employee must have good attendance, maintain safe work in the warehouse, operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods, keep the warehouse clean, and comply with OSHA and SDS Standards. You must also be able to work in an atmosphere as cold as - 30 degrees.
The physical requirements are that you must be able to carry, lift and/or move up to 50-60 pounds
