Job summary

Valmet in Neenah, WI is looking for a Mechanical Assembler/Maintenance Operator to join our rotating shift team. You will assemble and disassemble mechanical roll equipment for the paper industry, read blueprints, and perform light machining to keep production lines running smoothly.

A strong mechanical aptitude and a high school diploma or GED are required. Starting pay is $32.73 per hour with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble/disassemble components.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals to install and operate machinery.
• Experience with light machining is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble / disassemble bearings, housings and water cooling apparatus.
• Repair and maintain operating condition of industrial production equipment.
• Record parts used and prepare time/production records.
• Read blueprints and manuals to determine installation and operation.
