Job summary

Framingham Public Schools is hiring an Assistant Custodian (Rotator) to maintain and care for facilities across FPS. You will perform routine custodial, cleaning, and groundskeeping tasks to keep buildings and grounds clean, safe, and operational for students and staff.

A detail-oriented, reliable candidate able to handle heavy manual labor is preferred. Education required is a high school diploma or equivalent; prior custodial experience is preferred, and bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese) skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial tasks including cleaning, sanitizing, and groundskeeping.
• Maintain safety and security of facilities and equipment.
• Operate custodial and grounds maintenance equipment.
• Assist in minor repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Arrange rooms for activities and events.
