Job summary

CF Industries is seeking a Rotating Equipment Mechanical Engineer for the Verdigris Complex to support reliability, performance and mechanical integrity of critical rotating equipment. You will report to the Chief Engineer, Asset Integrity & Reliability, and work onsite as part of the Engineering organization.

This is a safety-sensitive role. The role covers troubleshooting, data analysis, maintenance strategy development, and collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 5+ years in rotating equipment, reliability or maintenance in heavy industry.
• Experience with vibration analysis, lubrication, seals and bearings preferred.
• Knowledge of API/ASME/OSHA standards preferred.
• Ammonia/fertilizer or petrochemical process familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide rotating equipment expertise for pumps, compressors, turbines.
• Analyze reliability data to reduce downtime and costs.
• Troubleshoot issues and develop preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Plan repairs, turnarounds, and equipment upgrades.
• Maintain documentation to meet PSM Mechanical Integrity standards.
• Share best practices and provide urgent technical support.
