Job summary

NES Fircroft seeks an experienced Rotating Equipment Inspector for a full-time role in Monaca, PA. The inspector will collaborate with the Rotating Equipment Area Engineer to provide equipment assurance to the area production team and serve as first contact for troubleshooting rotating equipment issues from maintenance and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in troubleshooting rotating equipment issues.
• Knowledge of MTBR metrics and failure analysis.
• Familiarity with MOC PSSR processes.

Responsibilities

• Read and respond to rotating equipment-related issues in operations shift reports.
• Review equipment maintenance notifications from the previous day.
• Attend the morning Production Team Meeting.
• Assist in prioritizing daily activities for the area rotating equipment team.
• Troubleshoot abnormal conditions and respond to operations and maintenance requests for engineering or equipment issues.
• Review equipment repairs, assist in failure analysis of equipment, and issue failure reports.
• Collaborate in the development of equipment repair specifications and scopes, including setting quality assurance hold and witness points, and executing the holds and witnesses.
• Provide training and feedback to operations and maintenance in ways to improve personal and process safety, cost, efficiency, and reliability.
