Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an Engineering Co-op/Operations Intern for our West Chicago, IL facility. The role focuses on learning and contributing to the Operations team through hands-on tasks and process improvements.

The position is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule and an anticipated January to August 2026 duration. Candidates should be pursuing an Engineering-related degree, be in good standing, and demonstrate strong Excel and Office skills along with good communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Assist with order acquisition and fulfillment to maintain customer experience.
• Support manufacturing on cost reduction and process improvement projects.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to develop standardization initiatives.
• Learn pump and mechanical seal fundamentals relevant to Flowserve activities.
• Gather and document equipment information as requested by customers.
• Prepare technical customer-facing final reports and condition reports.
• Update records and drawings related to equipment upgrades.
