Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an A&P Mechanic (Aviation Maintenance Technician - Rotary-Wing) in Alaska to maintain and repair helicopter platforms at an FAA Part 145 Repair Station. You will perform inspections, troubleshooting, and return-to-service activities on turbine-powered aircraft using FAA guidelines and manufacturers' manuals.

Qualifications

Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience; 5-10 years preferred.

Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Experience documenting maintenance per FAA regulations in a repair environment.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters per FAA regulations.
Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and return-to-service activities.
Remove, install, rig, and adjust components to ensure safe operation.
Perform functional checks and post-maintenance testing for airworthiness.
Collaborate with avionics, sheet metal, and quality teams to resolve issues.
