Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a Machine Operator to safely and efficiently run production equipment and support multiple positions to ensure timely, quality-ready products for shipment. The role emphasizes adherence to customer specifications, safety policies, and a proactive approach to maintenance and process improvements.

The position requires 1–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work independently or in a team within a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of related job experience.
• Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to varying conditions.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machines to meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs and improve processes.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and job tickets.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure correct production and shipping of jobs.
• Assist in other departments or special projects as needed.
