Job summary

Resolve Marine Group is seeking a Rope Access Technician to perform tasks at height to support salvage, maintenance and inspection operations. The role requires compliance with international rope access safety standards and includes extensive travel to project sites, both domestic and international.

The successful candidate will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of marine structures and vessels at height, conduct rigging setup for rope access systems, and execute confined space entry

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and passport; global mobility strongly preferred.
• Active TWIC or ability to obtain (USA employees).
• GWO certification.
• Level 3 rope access climber.
• Huet certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of marine structures and vessels at height.
• Conduct rigging and setup for rope access systems, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Execute confined space entry tasks using rope access techniques.
• Utilize drills, grinders, and cutting tools while suspended.
• Perform corrosion control, including cleaning and coating applications.
• Assist in installing or removing equipment such as rigging or structural components.
• Document and report findings from inspections or tasks completed.
• Maintain readiness of rope access equipment.

The role involves working in compliance with international rope access safety standards and includes domestic and international travel to project sites.

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of marine structures and vessels at height.
• Conduct rigging and setup for rope access systems, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Execute confined space entry tasks using rope access techniques.
• Utilize various tools and equipment, such as drills, grinders, and cutting tools, while suspended.
• Perform corrosion control, including cleaning and coating applications.
• Assist in installing or removing equipment, such as rigging or structural components.
• Document and report findings from inspections or completed tasks.
• Maintain and ensure readiness of all rope access equipment.
• Provide emergency rescue support during projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Driver's License

Travel Requirement:

Extensive travel is required, sometimes for months, depending upon the project duration. Ability to work on remote or distant projects as needed for several months. 24-hour and 7-day-a-week availability based on project or emergency response needs.
