Job summary

Acuren is seeking experienced Rope Access Technicians III to support our operations in Billings, Montana. Preference will be given to candidates with an IRATA Level 3 certification and related NDT or mechanical trades credentials.

The Rope Access Technicians III are responsible for ensuring crew safety, organizing rope access work, and supervising crews performing a wide range of industrial services at heights. Compliance with IRATA standards is required to ensure safe and effective work.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level 3 Certification required.
• Thorough understanding of rope access applications, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling, and advanced rescue techniques.
• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician in diverse industrial environments.
• Current first aid certification.
• A valid drivers' license is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
• Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions.
• Local to Billings, MT or willing to relocate.

The Rope Access Technicians III are responsible for managing the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, to organize work functions specific to rope access jobs, and to supervise crews engaged in performing a broad range of technical and/or industrial services at heights. The role ensures individual and organizational compliance with IRATA standards and regulations to ensure the safe and effective performance of work.

Skills:

• IRATA Level 3 Certification required
• A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, and comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques
• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician working within a variety of industrial environments.
