Location: Corpus Christi, TX; Duration: Approximately 6 months; Start Date: September 2026; Expected Completion: March 2027 (or later). The RT Technician performs NDT operations and evaluates results of NDT tests, inspecting piping, tanks and vessels using Radiography.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; technical credits preferred.
• ASNT NDE Level II certificate in RT required.
• Rope Access certification required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Train RT assistant, run the film and grade the film per specific procedures directed by the customer.
• Set up and calibrate equipment and interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods and guide trainees and NDT level I personnel on the project.
• Organize and report the results of NDT tests.
• Generate NDT data, organize data, and report findings; evaluate data for disposition.
• Other duties as assigned.

The RT Technician performs NDT operations and evaluates results of NDT tests as certified by Mistras Services written practices to routine NDT methods. Inspects piping, tanks and vessels using the method of Radiography.

Level 2 Certification in CR preferred.

Rope Access certification required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent, technical school or college credits preferred.


• Must possess a current ASNT NDE Level II certificate in the NDT method responsible; and possess adequate knowledge in the NDE method responsible.(RT)


• Proven ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.


• Proven ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.


• Proven ability to follow and communicate to subordinates precise directions and procedures of the customer on the project.


• Must possess a valid driver’s license.


• Ability to generate technical data orally, in writing, and electronically as required and appropriate.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
