Job summary

Acuren is hiring for rope access trades in Baton Rouge / New Orleans, LA. Positions include Boilermakers, Pipefitters, Insulators, Painters, Welders, and Electricians. Training for rope access certification is available for qualified candidates. TWIC card required and comfort with heights is needed.

Locations: Baton Rouge / New Orleans, Louisiana. On-site work schedule. Must have IRATA or SPRAT Level I certification, refinery experience, and NCCER preferred.

Qualifications

• IRATA or SPRAT Level I certification with proficiency in theory, equipment, rigging, maneuvers, climbing, and rescue/hauling.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Cert levels required vary by project.
• Industrial refinery experience.
• Mechanical/industrial experience.
• NCCER certification (Trained Individual) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders.
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques.
• Demonstrate the required skills of a level 1 Rope Access Technician.
• Assist other technicians as required.
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment.

• Rope Access Boilermakers
• Rope Access Pipefitters
• Rope Access Insulators
• Rope Access Painters
• Rope Access Combo Welders
• Rope Access Electricians

No Rope Access certification? No problem! Training is available for qualified candidates interested in obtaining their Rope Access certification.

TWIC Card Required

Must be comfortable working at heights! Candidates must be willing to work in elevated environments and meet the physical demands of the job.
