Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a detail-oriented Room Inspector to join our housekeeping team. You will inspect assigned suites and public areas, ensure cleanliness and repairs, and coordinate room assignments with Housekeeping staff to maintain guest-ready standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to cleanliness protocols, with an emphasis on providing a high-quality guest experience in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• 1 year housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
• Counsels Housekeepers on discrepancies. Notifies Executive Housekeeper of maintenance repairs as necessary.
• Opens/ closes the house by assigning rooms to Room Attendants, then ensuring that all rooms are cleaned by the end of day.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in Housekeeping role preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Team player
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests
• Knowledge of cleanliness standards
