Job summary

Chateau Élan Winery & Resort in Georgia seeks Team Members for Room Service to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will set up and deliver all food and beverage orders, ensure sanitation, and provide VIP amenities with professionalism.

Experience in hotel service is preferred. Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork are essential to excel in this role at our resort. This position features tipping eligibility and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hotel or resort service experience preferred.
• Excellent guest-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 100 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Able to carry trays weighing up to 30 lbs and deliver with efficiency.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Adapt communication style for different audiences and situations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders per standards.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve trays to maintain sanitation.
• Set up and deliver VIP amenities for guest suites.
• Service hospitality suites in line with Banquet Event Orders.
• Complete shift side work as required by policies.
• Response to guest needs, issues and feedback to drive quality experiences.
• Report communications to the shift supervisor promptly.
• Handle cash and adhere to company policies.
• Maintain reliable attendance and schedule availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

Work with Room Service Team in the serving of guests to ensure positive guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders in accordance with established guidelines, procedures and policies as prescribed by company standards.


• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays in order to maintain established sanitation guidelines.


• Set up and deliver all VIP amenities.


• Service all hospitality suites in accordance with Banquet Event Orders and established policies and procedure.


• Complete all shift side work as outlined in the hotel’s operating policies and procedures.


• Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales.


• Report all communication to immediate shift supervisor.


• Perform all cash handling responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.


• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.


• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Hotel experience preferred.


• Ability to communicate well with guests.


• Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move or push goods on a cart weighing a maximum of 100 lbs., at a continuous schedule with or without reasonable accommodation.


• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.


• Effective verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
