Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital is seeking a Food & Nutrition Room Service Attendant to obtain patient meal orders, ensure safety and quality, and support a compassionate care environment. You will follow HACCP guidelines, maintain uniform standards, and collaborate with staff to meet patient and physician satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Food Handlers or SERV Safe Certification preferred (90-day grace period after hire).

• Adhere to HACCP/food safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain Food & Nutrition uniform and personal appearance standards at all times.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Food & Nutrition Room Service Attendant will be a competent, experienced professional who is responsible for obtaining food preferences and meal orders. Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the performance management plan.

• Adhere to HACCP/food safety guidelines/policies & procedures
• Maintain and adhere to Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards at all time

• Participate in training with other members of the Food Service department staff to further develop/advance within the industry.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate\\Equivalent preferred
• 1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred
