DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and understand the assignment boards and instructions.
- Ensure that the Housekeeping Closets and Carts are kept clean, organized, and stocked.
- Clean, dust, sanitize, and stock all guest rooms (including bathrooms and kitchens in certain rooms) according to the standards and procedures of the Resort.
- Strip rooms of trash and linen.
- Make beds according to Resort standards.
- Participate in the deep clean schedule.
- Provide floor care on a regular basis.
- Handle “do not disturb” rooms as appropriate.
- Provide stayover and turndown service as assigned.
- Report any Maintenance issues or lost items to Management.
- Keep corridors clean, neat, and free of any debris.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Customer service-oriented ensures that every guest receives an excellent room.
- Highly attentive to details and careful and thorough in completing tasks.
- Able to maintain composure in difficult situations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least one (1) year of experience in a Housekeeping Department is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
- Some public areas of the Resort are outside; working in inclement weather is required.
Compensation:
$16 hourly to start
