DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Read and understand the assignment boards and instructions.
  • Ensure that the Housekeeping Closets and Carts are kept clean, organized, and stocked.
  • Clean, dust, sanitize, and stock all guest rooms (including bathrooms and kitchens in certain rooms) according to the standards and procedures of the Resort.
  • Strip rooms of trash and linen.
  • Make beds according to Resort standards.
  • Participate in the deep clean schedule.
  • Provide floor care on a regular basis.
  • Handle “do not disturb” rooms as appropriate.
  • Provide stayover and turndown service as assigned.
  • Report any Maintenance issues or lost items to Management.
  • Keep corridors clean, neat, and free of any debris.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Customer service-oriented ensures that every guest receives an excellent room.
  • Highly attentive to details and careful and thorough in completing tasks.
  • Able to maintain composure in difficult situations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

At least one (1) year of experience in a Housekeeping Department is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
  • Some public areas of the Resort are outside; working in inclement weather is required.
Compensation:

$16 hourly to start
