Detroit Metro Airport Marriott in Romulus, MI is seeking a dedicated full-time housekeeper to clean and maintain guest rooms to brand standards, including bathrooms and bedrooms, and to promptly respond to guest requests.

You will organize and stock cleaning carts, assist with linen inventories, and complete required paperwork accurately as part of a collaborative hotel team near DTW with a focus on guest satisfaction. Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays is expected.

• High work ethic and self-initiative.
• May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests!
• Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer is not typical for this role.

What you will be doing

• Clean and maintain the guest room areas, including bathroom and bedroom, according to company standards
• Organize and stock cleaning cart, and organize linen closets as assigned
• Complete assigned paperwork in an accurate and timely fashion
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning spills or executing special guest requests

• Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
• Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
• Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
• Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset.
