Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms to meet our standards and ensure guest comfort. You will sweep, mop, dust, change linens, restock amenities, and report maintenance needs.

A high school diploma is preferred and previous housekeeping experience is helpful. English communication is required. This role may involve standing for long periods and working varied shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
• Understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming to standards.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and amenities.
• Polish furniture and fixtures; dust surfaces.
• Notify managers about repairs needed in rooms.
• Process items left in rooms per lost and found policy.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; observe MSDS/OSHA.
• Perform house person and lobby duties when needed.
• Support guest satisfaction initiatives and aim to exceed expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Your Focus

• Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.


• Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.


• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.


• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment.


• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.


• Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.


• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.


• Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.


• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.


• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.


• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills

• High School diploma preferred.


• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.


• Understand and communicate in English.
