Job summary

HHM Hotels in Olathe, KS, is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms to established standards. You will greet guests warmly, change linens, and ensure a clean, safe environment within a reasonable timeframe.

The role supports guest satisfaction and may involve additional duties during busy periods. Prior housekeeping experience or training is preferred, and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
• Understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms to standards within the allotted time by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Notify managers concerning repairs in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
• Practice safe work habits and use of cleaning chemicals per MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Be ready to perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
• Aim to improve guest satisfaction and ensure overall guest happiness.

Your Focus

• Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.

• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment.
• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.

Your Background and Skills
