Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms to high standards in a fast-paced property in Delray Beach, FL.

The role requires friendly guest interaction, attention to cleanliness, and adherence to safety policies. Experience in housekeeping is preferred and English communication is essential. The position supports a dynamic team with opportunities for growth within HHM Hotels.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
• Understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly welcome.
• Clean guest rooms to standard within allotted time using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and amenities.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures; clean walls and surfaces.
• Notify management of any repairs needed in rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms per lost and found policy.
• Follow MSDS and OSHA safety guidelines while performing duties.
• Cover house person and lobby attendant tasks during peak times or staff shortages.
• Aim to boost guest satisfaction scores and overall service quality.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Focus

• Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment.
• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills
