Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant for Residence Inn Cherry Hill in Cherry Hill, NJ. This full-time, hourly position pays USD 17.00 to 18.00 per hour, with standard housekeeping responsibilities and a focus on guest satisfaction.

You will thoroughly clean guestrooms, restock supplies, and report maintenance or missing items to the supervisor. The role requires physical stamina and clear communication with guests and team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests and staff in a courteous, service-oriented manner.

Responsibilities

• Clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Prepare pre-cleaning duties and supplies.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs promptly to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
