The Seabird Ocean Resort and Spa in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain pristine guest rooms and support a smooth housekeeping operation. The role requires reliability, physical stamina, and attention to detail to meet high cleanliness standards and guest expectations.

Experience in housekeeping is preferred; candidates should be able to read and follow instructions, lift up to 50 lbs, and work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred for this position.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to read, understand, interpret and carry out directions and instructions.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Work independently and make sound, responsible decisions.
• May be working alone or as a team as needed.
• Must be able to walk and stand at least 95% of the shift.
• Must be able to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, and carry.
• Must be able to use hands to grasp, hold and use for manual activities.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Must have good organization skills.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum or no supervision.
• Must be an excellent team player with a positive and helpful attitude.

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned and completing a daily checklist list along with the required allotment of rooms. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate to guests preferred. This position is fast-paced, requires a considerable amount of walking, and the ability to lift, push and carry a moderate amount of weight. This position requires flexibility to work any shift, any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

The hourly rate for this position is $21.50 / hour.
