Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. You will play a key role in guest satisfaction by creating a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and adhering to health and safety policies. Ability to work independently, with flexible hours including weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel cleaning is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, clean windows, and ensure all surfaces are spotless and sanitary.
• Remove trash and recyclables from rooms and dispose of them properly.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost-and-found items to the appropriate department.
• Follow health and safety regulations and infection control policies.
• Handle guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to supervisors when necessary.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals responsibly and in accordance with training and safety standards.
• Ensure daily assigned room quotas are completed efficiently and thoroughly.
• Maintain equipment and housekeeping carts in clean and good working condition.

The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
