Job Summary
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation guidelines of all guest rooms and suites (bedroom, living area, kitchen, outdoor spaces, bathroom), while adhering to hotel and department policies and procedures.
- Ensure safety, security, and proper handling/usage of assigned master keys and communication devices.
- Ensure any lost and found items are properly reported, recorded, and submitted according to the hotel and departmental Lost and Found Policy.
- Ensure any vital information is passed on to the AM Supervisor(s), e.g. room damage, lost and found, routine maintenance, etc., reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs.
- Must be able to cross‑train in other Housekeeping and Laundry related areas.

Requirements
Essential Skills, Experience, and Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1–2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Luxury hotel and/or luxury residence experience preferred.
- High volume / fast‑paced environment experience preferred.
- Intermediate English – verbal.
- Must have flexible work availability – all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
