Job Title: Room Attendant at New Castle Hotels & Resorts

Join our team as a Room Attendant and contribute to providing guests with a clean, welcoming environment for a restful stay.

Role and Responsibilities

• Meticulous Cleaning: Maintain clean and attractive guestrooms by making beds, changing linens, cleaning, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming to meet or exceed hotel standards.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure windows are shining, towels are folded correctly, supplies are restocked, and closets are neat with the right amount of hangers.
• Organization: Keep your housekeeping closet and cart area ready to go.
• Teamwork: Support your coworkers by pitching in, training new staff, and participating in department events.
• Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly with a smile, acting as a Housekeeping Ambassador.
• Safety and Security: Follow hotel safety and security policies, anticipate problems, and call management when needed.

Job Details

Hourly Rate Range: $16.50 - $17.50

Minimum Requirements

• Basic English communication skills
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, reach, and work under variable temperatures and noise levels
• Near vision to see details at close range
• Ability to stand for long periods and multi-task
