Primary Purpose

To clean rooms and halls in the hotel by performing various tasks that maintain the premises in a clean and orderly manner, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens.
• Make beds.
• Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses and writing materials.
• Move furniture, hang drapes, and roll carpets.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other areas.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using appropriate equipment.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies with vacuum cleaners.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish fixtures and fittings.
• Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Clean windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays.
• Transport trash to disposal areas.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Abilities:

This role requires physical activity, including moving, lifting, carrying, and handling objects up to 50 pounds, and standing or walking for extended periods.
