HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Room Attendant for the Marriott San Ramon in San Ramon, CA. This on-site role focuses on maintaining spotless guest rooms and corridors, replenishing amenities, and following safety and cleaning procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and extend arms overhead for cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and follow cleaning procedures.
• Willingness to pitch in and help coworkers as a team player.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push/pull equipment up to 100 lbs while maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors using cleaning agents and tools.
• Strip beds and change linens; may lift bedspreads up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, pictures, drawers, ledges and shelves.
• Vacuum rooms and empty trash.
• Restock amenities, linens and supplies; manage room keys and cart movement.
• Attend shifts reliably and perform other duties as assigned.

No**Overview**Maintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.### **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** The following are specific contributions that must be developed during the training program in order to successfully complete the program and be placed in a hotel with or without reasonable accommodation: • Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping. • Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents. • Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs. • Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly. • Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash. • Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room. • Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
