Job summary

Town & Country Resort in San Diego is seeking a motivated housekeeping professional to maintain guest rooms to the resort’s high standards. You will clean, service, and refresh rooms daily, handling linens, bathrooms, and surfaces with care, while staying active and meticulous throughout your shift.

This role requires physical stamina, strong attention to detail, and a team-first mindset. Availability for AM shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential in our fast-paced resort

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred and training will be provided.
• Basic cleaning methods, linen care, and safe use of chemicals and tools are expected.
• Must stay active and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to understand and follow basic English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms per resort standards: make beds, replace linens and terry, dust, vacuum, bathrooms, and refresh surfaces.
• Collect soiled linens, restock towels, toiletries, and minibar to par levels.
• Operate vacuums/carts properly and report maintenance/hazards.
• Keep carts and storage areas clean and organized.
• Handle guest requests courteously during peaks/events.
• Follow safety, sanitation, chemical, and PPE protocols for readiness.

You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience at Town & Country Resort. You will expertly clean, service, and refresh guest rooms daily to deliver that fresh, welcoming vibe every time. This is a physically active position requiring strength, stamina, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset in a resort-scale environment. We’re looking for availability with AM shifts: Mon-Sat 8am-4:30pm, Sundays 9am-5:30pm. Pay rate: $21.35/hour.

Responsibilities

• Experience: Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is strongly preferred — but if you bring a positive attitude and take pride in creating clean, comfortable spaces, we’ll provide the training you need to shine.

Physical Requirements

This role demands high energy and physical stamina—candidates must be ready to tackle these requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull (linens, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning supplies).
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and stretching while making beds and cleaning rooms.
• Must be comfortable using cleaning chemicals and housekeeping tools safely.
• Ability to climb stairs when needed and work across multiple buildings throughout the resort.
