Job summary

Town & Country Resort in San Diego seeks a diligent Housekeeping Associate to maintain guest rooms to the resort’s high standards. You will clean, service, and refresh rooms daily, make beds, replace linens, and ensure bathrooms are spotless while coordinating with a team in a resort-scale environment.

This role is physically active, requires attention to detail and flexibility for AM shifts: Mon-Sat 8am-4:30pm, Sundays 9am-5:30pm, with pay at $21.35/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and safety procedures.
• Able to stay active and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexible shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Basic English understanding.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms per resort standards: make beds, replace linens, dust, vacuum, sanitize bathrooms, refresh surfaces.
• Collect soiled linens, inspect for issues, restock towels and amenities to par levels.
• Operate vacuums and carts correctly; report maintenance/ hazards.
• Keep carts and storage areas organized and on schedule.
• Handle guest requests courteously, especially during peak times.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and PPE protocols for check-in readiness.

• Flexibility:Availability for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential in our fast-paced resort environment.

Physical Requirements

This role demands high energy and physical stamina - candidates must be ready to tackle these requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull (linens, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning supplies).
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and stretching while making beds and cleaning rooms.
• Must be comfortable using cleaning chemicals and housekeeping tools safely.
• Ability to climb stairs when needed and work across multiple buildings throughout the resort.
