Job summary

Kona Kai San Diego Resort, part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and prepare guest rooms and public spaces on Shelter Island. You will support the Housekeeping team to deliver a memorable stay for guests, with attention to detail and strong guest interaction.

This entry-level position offers a pathway into hospitality, with a starting pay rate of $25.50 per hour, overtime at $38.25, and benefits including a complimentary meal each shift and employee travel

Qualifications

• Previous Room Attendant experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and high guest-service standards.
• Ability to lift, push and pull moderate weights (at least 20 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Clean and stock all assigned guest rooms and public areas per department procedures.
• Ensure rooms meet cleanliness standards to exceed guest satisfaction.
• Report to the Director of Housekeeping and maintain safety and sanitation protocols.

Kona Kai San Diego Resort is a boutique urban resort located on Shelter Island. With 170 guestrooms, Kona Kai Resort is home to Vessel Restaurant + Bar, SpaTerre, a marina and a private club, all located just minutes from downtown San Diego. We are currently seeking a positive, hard-working, self-motivated individuals to join our fantastic team as our Room Attendant at our island-inspired resort.

The Job:

This role will report to: The Director of Housekeeping

As a Room Attendant, you are responsible for cleaning and supplying all assigned guest rooms or other guest areas according to department procedures and standards to exceed guest satisfaction. As a member of the Housekeeping Department, you will play a big part of in our heart of they house, ensuring our guests' stay is a memorable one.

Requirements

• Previous Room Attendant experience is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to communicate with guests.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight, minimum 20 lbs.
• Flexible schedule.
