Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites-Orlando is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to manage daily housekeeping tasks and guest interactions. You will work with housekeeping teammates to keep rooms and public areas pristine, assist guests with requests, and help maintain supply levels throughout the property.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and housekeeping staff.
• Willingness to perform cleaning, laundry, and supply stocking duties.
• Prior housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned rooms according to standards.
• Prepare guest rooms for arrival and ensure cleanliness of common areas.
• Perform laundry duties as needed to support operations.
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supplies in rooms and closets.
• Ensure a high level of customer service to guests at all times.
• Assist guests with requests and questions promptly.
• Report damages or repairs to management.
• Notify Housekeeping Manager of lost and found items.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas.

Description

The Room Attendant will be responsible for the daily ownership and operational execution of the Housekeeping Department. Room attendants must be comfortable communicating with guests they encounter, as well as the Housekeeping staff to efficiently service guest rooms. Teamwork among all housekeeping staff, as well as the ability to perform the daily tasks required for the position, form the foundation on which each individual is able to develop and succeed within the department.

• Cleaning and servicing assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including
• Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival
• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel
• Perform laundry duties as necessary
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms
• Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times
• Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary
• Report any damages or repairs needed to management
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager
