Job summary

Fouquet's New York - Tribeca is seeking an experienced Room Attendant to support the hotel’s operations and guest needs. You play a key role in maintaining the presentation of guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces.

The position requires physical stamina to push carts, lift items, and perform deep cleaning tasks. Availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays is expected to ensure smooth service levels for our guests.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a room attendant preferred.
• Able to push/pull a fully loaded housekeeping cart.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Available to work weekdays, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area.
• Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
• Changing bed linen and making beds.
• Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.
• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Vacuuming carpets.
• Dusting and polishing furniture.
• Emptying trash containers.
• Restocking beverages and food items in the minibar.
• Cleaning public areas, such as corridors.
• Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs.
• Updating status of guest rooms on assignment sheet.
• Returning and restocking cleaning cart at shift end.
• Turn over any lost and found items from guest rooms to the Supervisor.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed so rooms may be sold or occupied.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers.

• Must have availability to work weekdays, weekends & holidays
