Job summary

Peachtree Group Hospitality Management in Las Cruces, NM seeks a Room Attendant to take daily ownership of housekeeping operations and to communicate effectively with guests and staff. The role emphasizes teamwork and reliable execution of tasks to maintain hotel standards.

You will clean rooms and public areas, handle laundry duties, stock supply rooms, and assist guests with requests while ensuring a high level of service and reporting any issues to management.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned rooms according to standards.
• Clean and arrange guest rooms for arrival.
• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel.
• Perform laundry duties as necessary.
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms.
• Ensure a high level of customer service at all times.
• Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary.
• Report damages or repairs to management.
• Report lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager.

Job description

The Room Attendant will be responsible for the daily ownership and operational execution of the Housekeeping Department. Room attendants must be comfortable communicating with guests they encounter, as well as the Housekeeping staff to efficiently service guest rooms. Teamwork among all housekeeping staff, as well as the ability to perform the daily tasks required for the position, form the foundation on which each individual is able to develop and succeed within the department.

• Cleaning and servicing assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including
• Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival
• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel
• Perform laundry duties as necessary
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms
• Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times
• Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary
• Report any damages or repairs needed to management
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager
