Job summary

ARK in Dothan, Alabama is seeking a motivated housekeeper to join our hotel team. You will perform bed making, vacuuming, mopping, restocking toiletries, washing and ironing sheets, and other standard cleaning tasks to ensure guest comfort and cleanliness.

The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred, and strong work ethic with good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain common spaces including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms.

• Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed.
• Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel's standards before guests arrive.
• Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed.
