The Warwick Allerton Hotel-Chicago is seeking motivated, and organized Room Attendants to join our team. If you're friendly, reliable, and take pride in a job well done consider this opportunity!

Prior housekeeping experience or similar role is preferred. Flexible schedule required for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role involves cleaning and returning rooms to standard condition and assisting guests with requests while upholding hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Represent the hotel in a positive manner at all times.
• Clean and return vacant dirty guest rooms to vacant ready condition.
• Clean and return occupied dirty guest rooms to an occupied clean condition.
• Tidy guest rooms as requested and required by hotel standards.
• Report any material or supply discrepancies to housekeeping supervisor.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to housekeeping supervisor immediately to prevent any inconvenience to our guest's experience.
• Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart and linen closet.
• Respond to guest requests or inquiries immediately.
• Return all lost and found items to housekeeping immediately.
• Assume all responsibilities as delegated by the manager and do any or all other duties that may be required to fulfill customer needs and requests.
• Exemplify the hotel's Standard Code of Conduct and all other regulations established by management and Employee Handbook.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for an entire shift, and navigate stairways when necessary.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, push and pull.
• Ability to push a heavy cart loaded with supplies.
• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds or more.
• Ability to tolerate moderate temperature changes in the building.
• Ability to handle repetitive motion of the wrists, hands and fingers.
